At the invitation of the Women’s Rights Committee and the Association for Assistance to Victims of Crime (AVIP), the High Commissioner attended a performance of the play “Les Maux Bleus”, created by the Compagnie L’Eclair, at the Théâtre des Muses.
Two actresses, fifteen characters, one certainty: violence is not about gender but power. Through a series of short scenes, some moving, some funny, the play highlights that shadowy part of society from different points of view: victims, witnesses and abusers.
Les Maux Bleus is an intense, poignant and uncompromising exposé of the violence perpetrated against women in all its forms.
