To mark International Women’s Day on 8 March, the High Commissioner and her team are joining the #8MarsMonaco (#8MarchMonaco) campaign organised by the Prince’s Government.
The campaign’s aim is to raise public awareness of women’s rights and increase the visibility of International Women’s Day, which is this year devoted to the theme of building a gender-balanced world. It will take the form of a poster campaign in the Principality, featuring a mosaic of portraits of the many participating personalities who have supported the Women’s Rights Committee since it was established on 25 October last year.
In parallel with the #8MarsMonaco campaign, the photographs for which are the work of artist Anthony Alberti, another session of the Women’s Rights Committee will be held on 8 March 2019. The High Commissioner will be taking part alongside the Committee’s other stakeholders.
